Together we take care of each other
Libéma's locations are often in the middle of cities and villages, and we really are part of these communities. Not only as an employer and meeting place, but also by supporting cultural and educational programs and contributing to social initiatives. We are also committed to regional and national causes.

Work Projects
We believe that having a nice, meaningful day job makes people happier. That is why we work together with organizations that support people for whom a regular job is (temporarily) not obvious. For students and pupils, we have fun and instructive internships at all locations, from an introductory internship to graduate research.

Haleeka
Through Stichting Haleeka, Libéma employees and volunteers can give families with a seriously ill child or parent a helping hand with a fully catered stay at the Safari Resort. The family can enjoy a few days in a luxury wheelchair-friendly lodge and thus, hopefully, escape daily worries for a while.

Quiet
In 2013, Libéma founder Dirk Lips, together with Harry Hilders and Ralph Embrechts, stood at the cradle of the Quiet Communities, an organization with the goal of giving a face to poverty in the Netherlands. The eleven Quiet Communities in the Netherlands now make the lives of people in a poverty situation a little more livable. Libéma still actively contributes to this foundation.

Charities & social funds
Ever since its inception, Libéma has supported various charities, including Slachtofferhulp, Stichting Ambulance Wens and Dreamnight at the Zoo. In addition, the company participates in larger funds such as the LOF Brabant and BrabantSport.

Cultural heritage
Besides nature conservation, we also find it important to work to protect our cultural heritage, such as historic buildings and objects. In Luchtvaartmuseum Aviodrome we do everything we can to preserve the history of Dutch aviation, in 1931 we organize modern events in a historical environment.

Active in society
Libéma locations are not isolated islands, we are part of the communities in which we are located and try to contribute to this in a positive and active way. For example, every year we take part in JINC Baas van Morgen, during elections there is regular voting between animals and planes and we work together with
various courses.
